Planned Maintenance System & Spare
Part Controls
1. A
computerised planned maintenance and management system
application of the Main Engines, Propulsion and Steering
Control Systems shall be supplied during the acceptance.
The application shall be supplied in two (2) sets, one
to be station on board and one for office use.
The application shall include the following :
a) Inventory of parts, equipment, systems and
machinery onboard
b) Ordering of spare parts, services and repairs
c) Work Orders
d) Maintenance records of all work and job done
e) Costs, time taken and financial monitoring
f) surveys done
g) repair lists
h) reports as and when required
i) analysis of data
2.
The application software shall incorporate the maintenance
requirements of the Government, equipment manufacturer
and various Class surveys and shall be comprehensive,
precise, thorough and simple to operate and understsnd.
The application software shall also include spare parts
diagram, all the drawing and data. The following shall
be provided for the intended system :
a) Operating Instructions
b) Spare Parts List
c) Planned Maintenance Scheduling
d) Defect Report Work Order
e) History Sheets
f) Inventory of items provided
g) System Maintenance manuals
h) Application backup and instructions
3. Planned
Maintenance System Software
a) The supply shall include latest version of MS-DOS
and other Software that are appropriate for the overall
system performances.
b) The Shipyard shall ensure that the PMS packages
are compatible to the micro-computer and related items.
Otherwise, Shipyard shall propose extra items to be
supplied or installed, to obtain the compatibility.
c) The Shipyard shall arrange for the supply of suitable
available latest PMS software, for monitoring
and scheduling maintenance activities ( Shipyard to
propose ) |
