| 2. Provisional Registration |
| |
| After a decision to register the vessel is made, then the
following data must be furnished. |

| The ISM Code is required for : |
|
passenger vessels without tonnage limit |
|
high speed vessels(cargo or passenger ships) |
|
bulk carriers of more than 500 gross tons |
|
tnakers of more than 500 tons |
|
| As of July 1, 2002, all other types of vessels of more than
500 gros tons will be subject to the ISM Code. |
|
| A fax copy of the valid Document of Compliance(DOC) and of
the Safety Management Certificate(SMC) will be sufficient for
registration purposes. |

| 3. Permanent Registration |
| |
| After a provisional registration is made and provisional documents
for the ship are issued, the following documents have to be
sent to my office, so I can apply for and obtain permanent registration
: |

Power of attorney legalized by a panamanian
consul or legalized with apostille(The Hague Convention
of 1961) ; We provide it. |
|
Deletion Certificate from previous registry, legalized
in the same way as above. |
|
Bill of Sale and Acceptance of Sale, duly executed and
legalized in the same way as above. I can also provide
you with standard form of Bill of Sale and Acceptance
of Sale. |

: |
If the ship
is going to be registered under the same ownership,
that is, that no change of owner will take place,
then a Bill of Sale will not be required and the
Deletion Certificate of Previous Registry "indicating
the name of the owner" will be sufficient and
will serve as the title of ownership. |

Classification Entity authorized by The Republic of Panama(i.e.
