How does the coating work ? |
The coating works due to its implementation of common physics principles of reflectivity,
conduction and emmisivity . Insulating Coating microscopic particle structure reflects upwards of 85% of the
radiant heat gain back into the environment in which it originated.
Thus heat is reflected and refracted away from the substrate and back to the environment in which it originated.
This allow the coating to be extremely efficient for its thin coat thickness.

Also its air filled microbead-structure encapsulates air within each bead and even more entrapped
air between the particle. This high content of entrapped and stagnant air acts as a very efficent
block of thermal transfer . The highly reflective beads retard the thermal transfer over the surface
area and inhibit total heat conductance throughtout the coating and into the substrate.
In addition the coating's low emmisivity allows for low heat flux. the heat flux is how much heat is transferred to the
internal atmosphere by re-radiating heat.
