Industrial Coating |
Industrial Insulating Coating, is an excellent coating for industrial for a variety of uses. We have used the coating successfully for heat exchangers, bag houses, rail cars, tanks, condensation lines, HVAC, and many others. The coating works not only to reduce temperatures but also provides energy savings, and personnel protection.
Industrial Insulating Coating is a composite (one-part) coating comprised of air filled ceramic and silica beads held in suspension by an acrylic binder which deters heat or cold. It applies like paint and is mildew resistant. This product can be sprayed and requires no maintenance.
Industrial Insulating Coating is an excellent insulator requiring less time to install than conventional insulators and is extremely lightweight. The coating is water based and contains no harmful elements to the environment thus providing a manufacturer ease of care and installation.

| ¢Æ¢Æ Benefits : |
|
-. Industrial Insulating Coating is environmentally friendly, containing no toxic or hazardous substances or materials.
-. Industrial Insulating Coating saves total installation time when compared to conventional insulator methods. No cutting, tapping or special hangers.
-. Industrial Insulating Coating adheres virtually to any material and eliminates the potential for surface corrosion.
-. Industrial Insulating Coating is a non-combustible, nonflammable, thermal insulation.
-. Industrial Insulating Coating is a one part coating for surface insulation, personnel protection, and corrosion protection.
-. Industrial Insulating Coating may be applied to a clean, working surface up to 350 deg.F.
-. Industrial Insulating Coating significantly reduces or eliminates the possibility of condensation.
-. Industrial Insulating Coating is lightweight (5.5 pounds per gallon). Approx 0.06lbs/sq.ft. at 20 mil DFT.
-. Industrial Insulating Coating can be "touched up" after minor structural repairs.
-. Industrial Insulating Coating can be used much like a high build primer (sandable).
-. Industrial Insulating Coating carries a two (2) year limited industrial warranty.
* Insulation : Industrial Insulating Coating can be "built up" with successive coats to increase insulating capabilities.
Each coat increases the insulating capacity. However, the first coat is the most effective. Each coat is approx. 20 mils in thickness dry (DFT).

| ¢Æ¢Æ Product limitations : |
|
-. Apply at temperatures between 42 deg.F. and 350 deg. F. Higher application temperatures require special application instructions.
-. Surface must be clean and free of rust, grease, etc.
-. Mixing - must be mixed with a "Mud" style paddle (commonly found in sheet rock applications) and 1/2" drill motor. Product should be mixed to a smooth creamy consistency on low reverse setting. Excessive mixing will greatly reduce insulating capabilities.
-. Surface must be completely dry before re-coat to insure insulating capabilities.
-. Higher temperature surfaces may expedite dry times. Lower ambient temperatures require longer dry time.

| ¢Æ¢Æ Recommended substrates : |
|
Industrial coating is excellent for most Industrial applications. Industrial has been successful on the following applications:
|
Heat exchanger protection - used for personnel protection.
Pan protection and heat retention - used to protect personnel and provide more efficiency for boilers.
Boiler protection and heat retention - used to protect personnel and provide more efficiency for boilers.
HVAC - used to control and eliminate condensation in plant areas.
Rooftops - used to reduce and seal rooftops from weather and radiant heat gain.
Tanks - used to reduce thermal shock and increase control condensation. Also used for heat or cold retention.
Diffusers - used for heat retention and substrate protection.
Piping - used to insulate pipes and provide substrate protection.
Personnel Protection - used to lower substrate temperatures within OSHA guidelines.
Extruders - used to help insulate and protect molds in plastic applications
Substrate protection and insulation - used in various industrial equipment to help insulate equipment against radiant heat gain.
Cold boxes - used to help insulate and reduce/eliminate condensation.
